To ensure that the precision of the bearing seat hole during manufacturing and processing is maintained during each disassembly and assembly of the box cover, a positioning pin should be installed on the connecting flange between the box cover and the box seat before precision machining of the bearing hole. Place it on the connecting flanges on both longitudinal sides of the box, and the symmetrical box should be arranged symmetrically to avoid incorrect installation.
5) Check the height of the oil level in the oil pool of the reducer with an oil level indicator. Regularly maintain an appropriate amount of oil in the oil pool. Generally, install an oil level indicator in a part of the box that is easy to observe and has a stable oil level.
6) When changing the oil drain plug, drain the dirty oil and cleaning agent. An oil drain hole should be opened at the bottom of the box seat and the lowest position of the oil pool. The oil drain hole should be plugged with a plug in normal times, and a leak proof gasket should be added between the oil drain plug and the joint surface of the box.
7) To enhance the sealing effect, the box opening screws are usually coated with water glass or sealant on the split surface of the box during assembly. Therefore, it is often difficult to open the cover during disassembly due to the tight bonding. For this reason, 1-2 screw holes are often machined at the appropriate position of the connecting flange of the box cover, and the cylindrical or flat end opening screws used for opening the box are screwed in. Turn the box opening screw to lift the upper box cover. Small reducers can also be equipped without opening screws. When opening the cover, use a screwdriver to pry open the cover. The size of the opening screw can be the same as that of the flange connecting bolt
