1. Reducers can be divided into two categories based on their purpose: universal reducers and specialized reducers, each with different design, manufacturing, and usage characteristics. In the 1970s and 1980s, there was significant development in gearbox technology around the world, which was closely integrated with the development of the new technological revolution. Reducers are classified by structure: gear structure reducers, worm gear structure reducers, planetary structure reducers
General reducers include helical gear reducers (including parallel axis helical gear reducers, worm gear reducers, bevel gear reducers, etc.), planetary gear reducers, cycloidal pinwheel reducers, worm gear worm reducers, planetary friction mechanical continuously variable transmissions, etc.
1) Cylindrical gear reducer
Single level, secondary level, secondary level or above. Layout form: expansion type, split type, coaxial type.
2) Bevel gear reducer
Used in situations where the positions of the input and output shafts intersect.
3) Worm reducer
Mainly used in situations where the transmission ratio i>10, the structure is compact when the transmission ratio is large. Its disadvantage is low efficiency. At present, Archimedes worm reducer is widely used.
4) Gear worm reducer
If the gear transmission is at the high-speed level, the structure is compact;
If the Worm drive is at the high speed level, the efficiency is higher.
5) Planetary gear reducer
High transmission efficiency, wide transmission ratio range, transmission power of 12W~50000KW, small size and weight.
